Okay, the only reason this journal entry is called: "Nothing can be explained", is because it's the truth. If you explain something, it'll be proven wrong eventually. Anyway. Today's standards... and society... I'm not gonna rant about Society's standards (or am I?); What I will be doing, however, is talking about the way society works.
How does a Democracy work? The majority of the vote wins. So, in the year 2012, something is supposed to happen. But what, exactly? There are way too many theories. No, I'm not one of those firm believes that God's son (or messenger, whichever your religion is and whatever you believe in) is going to RAISE from the DEAD... like a zombie. No, I don't think that's going to happen. I am, however, a firm believe of scientific fact, and paranormal activity. Not like ghost paranormal, more like other beings in the universe paranormal. And what day in the year 2012 is something going to happen, if any day at all?
Rising from the dead means you're a Zombie, end of story. Unless you've ascended, in which case, that's a whole different novel. (So to speak.) So, the end of civilization as we know it... ha. Lies. I theorize with my father quite often about this, and lately we've had a few good conversations about what other life forms may be. My father actually mentioned something that had caught my attention, and surprised me: He said: "We should all just become atheists" ...and stop worshipping something that was written a long time ago. Well, to paraphrase, that's what he said. It took me by surprise because I had always thought that my father was an avid practitioner of religion. But I guess I must've confused that quality with my mother. (XD)
I really want 2012 to happen. I want to see what happens. Apparently, it's December 21st. Andrea's birthday, none the less. That's some scary stuff. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. (For those that don't know, it's the end of the Mayan Calender - And, to the extent that my knowledge has grown, I also believe it's the oldest civilization recorded) :)
